Rabbit Rabbit is the husband/wife team of vocalist/violinist Carla Kihlstedt and multi-instrumentalist Matthias Bossi. Drawing influence from art and folk songs as well as improvised and industrial music, the duo spins balladry both structurally sparse and emotionally rich. Winner of the 13th annual Independent Music Award for Eclectic Song, Rabbit Rabbit is a leader in the post-label world of self-releases, each month offering a new song plus video, photos and more to their subscribers. Visit RabbitRabbitRadio.com for more information.
ROCKET & THE GHOST name Elvis, The Beatles, Tom Waits, Lou Reed and The Pixies among their numerous influences. Winner of the 13th annual Independent Music Award for Love Song, the quintet raised the money for its first LP by saving. They feel if the money is “never recouped, it will still be worth it.” Rocket & The Ghost is Kiyoshi Matsuyama (vocals, guitar), Stuart Bidwell (drums), Sean Gavigan (guitars) and Sarah Goldstone (keyboards).
