Edan Wilber moved to New York at the tender age of seventeen. After a few failed attempts at what he wanted to do there, he discovered the underground music scene in Brooklyn. While working a terrible 9-5 job for 6 years, he would get out of work only to end up the first person at a show because it was pointless for him to go all the way home and then back out again. He was quiet at first, but started seeing many of the same people out at these shows. Eventually he came out of his shell and started working with and for these people.
Edan found his calling as a soundguy and soon started to book shows for bands he liked. Presently, he is helping to run one of the best underground venues in the city, Death by Audio, which just celebrated its 5th anniversary. His booking company Entertainment4every1 works tirelessly to bring the best in new independent music to all who will listen.
Edan is an accomplished photographer who has been published in many magazines and websites as well as having work in the permanent collection at the MoMA. Follow him on Instagram (thepiratehat).
