Pete Wentz is best known as the primary lyricist/bassist for multi-platinum selling band Fall Out Boy. In 2005, he began the first of his multi-entrepreneurial efforts thru the formation of Decaydance Records. The New York City-based label was originally launched as an imprint of Fueled by Ramen. It now stands alone and is home to hit-making acts including Panic At The Disco, The Academy Is…, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, Lifetime and Hey Monday. Not long after the launch of Decaydance, Wentz formed Clandestine Industries, which distributes books and clothing. He’s also part-owner Angels & Kings, a well-trafficked bar chain with locations in New York City, Chicago and Barcelona, along with members and managers of the Crush Music Management family.
